History of Bholad Surapura Dada
The graves of Veer Tejajidada and Veer Rajaji Dada at Surapura Dham Bholad honor their sacrifice 900 years ago to protect fields from looters. Veer Rajaji, from the Chauhan family, saved a herdsman’s daughter and died heroically at age 27 after killing 17 attackers.
Surapura Dham, where their memorial stands, remains a place of strong faith. In April 2016, a significant ceremony was held here. Devotees from all over visit, believing their wishes are fulfilled by Dada. The temple’s activities, including serving food, are managed selflessly without monetary transactions by Danbha Bapu.
Danbha Balwantsinh Chauhan, 37, leads a simple life while working in Ahmedabad and serving at the temple. He lost his father and brother young and now supports his family while helping devotees at Surapura Dham. This place of faith continues to attract people from across India and abroad.
A meeting is held at bholad every Monday night and Tuesday in the presence of Dada. In which thousands of devotees come and present their sorrows in front of Dada and their problems are solved in faith.
